I have purchased my iMac for more than two month but to find that it’s hard to familiarize myself with a operating system totally new to me. While most of the time, I may need to utilize the software application in Windows for my daily activities as blogging is one of them. Due to this reason, I am using the Parallel Desktop application to run Windows 7 within my Mac system which totally drain out the memory and eventually result in laggy condition.
This is very exciting topic I would like to share as I have just upgraded my iMac RAM. The original iMac when I first bought was 4GB (2 x 2GB) and it should be enough for normal usage if your iMac is used for normal web browsing, movie watching, music listening but not for heavy work like editing movie, or software programming compilation. I have upgraded my iMac RAM from 4GB to 12GB. It works seamlessly and I love the boosted performance of my iMac very much.
